The AI analyzes your recent training, long runs, and race history to generate personalized race plans.
What is RunSignal? FREE
RunSignal is your daily readiness indicator - a free tool that tells you whether today is a good day for quality training, easy running, or rest. It analyzes:
- Training Load: Your recent 7-day volume vs 28-day baseline
- Pace Trends: Signs of fatigue from pace fade in recent runs
- Recovery Time: Days since your last hard effort
- Weather Conditions: Environmental stress factors
Based on this analysis, you get one of three signals:
- GREEN (Go): Good day for quality work - intervals, tempo, long run
- YELLOW (Easy): Take it easy - easy run or light cross-training only
- RED (Rest): Recovery recommended - rest or very light activity
RunSignal also provides training suggestions based on your signal, helping you decide what workout to do today.
What is Running Signature?
Running Signature is a visual card generator that creates a unique "running DNA" fingerprint you can share on social media. It analyzes your data to create a beautiful visual representation including:
- Pace Patterns: Visual representation of your pace consistency
- Heart Rate Zones: Your training intensity distribution
- Performance Metrics: Key stats from your running history
- Customizable Design: Multiple visual themes and styles
Download or share your Running Signature card directly to social media to show off your unique running identity.
How do Personal Records work?
PaceBrain automatically detects and tracks your personal records (PRs) across standard race distances:
- 1K, 5K, 10K, 15K, Half Marathon, Marathon, 50K, 100K
- PR history timeline showing when you achieved each record
- Trend indicators showing improvement or decline
- Celebration animations when you set a new PR
- Share PRs to social media
What are heart rate zones and how are they calculated?
Heart rate zones help you train at the right intensity. PaceBrain calculates personalized zones based on:
- Your resting heart rate
- Maximum heart rate (detected from activities or user-specified)
- Lactate threshold estimates from pace/HR data
The five zones are:
- Zone 1 (Recovery): Very light, active recovery
- Zone 2 (Aerobic): Easy conversational pace, base building
- Zone 3 (Tempo): Comfortably hard, sustainable effort
- Zone 4 (Threshold): Hard effort, lactate threshold training
- Zone 5 (VO2max): Maximum effort, interval training
